March 6, 2021 Genealogy Pedigree Chart

Here I go, chasing my own taleπŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰ the tale of the generations of people who passed before me. My Pedigree chart has been penciled onto  the specific lines(lots of erasures, and blank spaces). I'm also not totally convinced that this is the chart that will be used as the 'final' one, as this adventure has its own evolution.

Am I done? Hardly!

No doubt, I could spend years searching for details about each of the members of 'my people'. The more I find out, the more I realize I don't know. Genealogy is not just about names, dates, vital statics, charts, etc. It is much more.

There are stories to be told, photos to be shared, and lives that need to be placed at the center of the stage, for perhaps a brief page or 2 or 3.

My hope and desire is that the stories, photos, and details that I have learned, will be passed down to future generations. I'll be telling the stories as completely and as accurately as possible to ensure that my ancestors' legacies live on for generations to come.

Here is a rough draft of a chart that has since been moved to 'Ancestry Dot Com'. Because my computer skills continue to improve(😁😁😁), I'm able to create charts, insert photos, and data such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, death certificates:

*******Notice the number beside each name.

#1 is ME.

#2 is my Dad.

#3 is my Mom.

#4 is my Paternal Grandfather.

#5 is my Paternal Grandmother

#6 is my Maternal Grandfather

#7 is my Maternal Grandmother

Numbers #8 - #15 are the next generation. Not shown, but to be included, are numbers #16 - #31, the next generation. I'll post those names and dates as the information is documented, and as my chart increases in sizeπŸ˜€. Also not shown are the siblings and children in each of the numbers! (Yes, their stories and photos will be shared as well.)
HA! The stories shared will not start out with #1πŸ˜‚. Nor will the people follow a certain order.  In fact, my first story line will be filled with facts, stories and photos of my Paternal Grandfather (#4).

Here's to WALTER HENRY HAMILTON. Stay tuned and hang on for the ride!
