Yep, we survived!
5 days, 5 nights!
2 grandkids
Plus 2 cats!
Honestly, I'm not sure, but there were moments when Papa and I both felt like LTC and KTC were keeping US!......... seriously!
We had the honor of staying with the Grands while Mom and Dad slipped away for a little R&R.
They sure didn't look worried or concerned when they left, now did they!↑↑↑
Homework, packing lunches, after school activities like dance and basketball, bathtime, dinners..... you name it...... we they did it! (Yes, they made their beds, kept their rooms tidy, fed the cats, and supplied us with plenty of HUGS.💓💓💓💓💓💓
At the end of the day, there was a little bit of TV.
But they usually looked like this! ↓↓↓😁😁😁
They were well informed in remote technology..... BIG TIME
They could fast forward, pause, and change channels, quicker than I could serve the popcorn!
They knew which movies were free!
And they knew that before they could watch TV they had to complete HOMEWORK.

The mornings before school were cold! But that didn't phase these two.
They seemed easily entertained by my lens ball.
Pizza, pancakes, subs, fruit loops, lots of milk, PB&J, mac&cheese, vanilla oreos........ ahhhhh the substance of life.
At the end of the day, both grands pointed out the "rainbow sky". They pointed out the moon and venus!
Independent and self-sufficient are just 2 of the many words describing their attributes.
They were respectful, obedient....... and SWEET.💓
Bathtime? These two needed no help, suggestions, or monitoring.
*******My hat is off to the superior job that LTC and KTC's parents have done thus far, to encourage them to be responsible young people!
The sweetest part of the day:
Nighttime prayer time.
Pure Joy.
EVERY.SINGLE.NIGHT
Yes, the Grandparents survived 5 days and 5 night.
But here is the TRUTH:
They took care of US! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
They took care of US! 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
