It's the little things, you know.

Last week was our anniversary!
It was our 46th wedding anniversary!
****June 6, 1970****
We didn't take a cruise.
We didn't go to Europe.
We didn't go on a safari.
We didn't buy expensive  any gifts.
In fact, we were not able to go out to eat on our anniversary.
But, it's the little things, you know!
A kiss, a hug, and an 'I LOVE YOU' go a long ways for us.
The following evening, we drove to the top of Bent Mountain and dined at BENT MOUNTAIN BISTRO. Check out their menu. Photos do absolutely no justice!
After dinner, we went to CAHAS KNOB OVERLOOK by way of a few country roads, and the Blue Ridge Parkway!
It's the little things, you know.

The sunset at Cahas Knob Overlook was lovely!

And then the moon and stars appeared!
OH WOW!
It's the little things, you know!

We continued our celebratory anniversary by spending a few days at our favorite place ---->VISA .
We've been members at VISA  FOREVER.
In fact, Ron's Dad was one of the charter members that started this club. Ron and I call it the 'Moneta Triangle' for short. Once you're in the Moneta Triangle, it's nearly impossible to leave!
It was on this DOCK below, 49 years ago, that we had our very first date! It's the little things, you know!

We've had our sail boat in the water here for 35 years.
Hear me CLEARLY.
The boat has never been OUT OF THE WATER.
We  Ron decided it was a good time to clean the boat...
 for our anniversary....
in 95 degree weather.
HAHA.... it's the little things, you know!

Yes, it was a hot few days, especially for camping at night, with no air-condition.
Wha wha wha.....
But we made the best of the situation camping under the stars.

We napped during the day, and did night-time photography when most of the other campers were asleep!
It's the little things, you know!

Happy 46th Anniversary to US
