December 11, 2019 Last Full Moon of the decade!

It was a beautiful night!
......... and it was freezing outside!
None the less............
December 11th, the moon was calling my name!

The Full Moon did not occur until 12:12AM on the 12th.
12/12 at 12:12am
This was captured at 8:44PM prior to that midnight hour.
The Cold Moon is joined by the planets Venus and Saturn, which will be close together.
"The moon itself will be framed by Auriga, the charioteer, to its left (north) and the Hyades star cluster to the south (on the right). The Hyades usually defines the 'head' of Taurus, though its fainter stars will be washed out by the lunar glare."
Below are 2 shots of stars located near the moon, using the app SKY GUIDE for iphone.

Yes, this was the decade's last full moon!...........
The COLD is  also called
LONG NIGHTS MOON, and
THE MOON BEFORE YULE
