December 6, 2019 Holiday Pops RSO

Tis the season for singing,
and dancing,
and decorating,
and eating,
and socializing,
and attending a multitude of seasonal events.
What a fabulous way to kick off the Christmas season.
The Roanoke Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops was
SPECTACULAR
The following 9 photos were taken by Ryan Hunt Photography for our local newspaper The Roanoke TImes Gallery of Photos
He captured the evening perfectly! Thank you Ryan!

The performance was Virginia's largest holiday concert with at least 3100 patrons in attendance.
Our seats for the evening were in the stands near the orchestra!
THERE WERE NO BAD SEATS!
The patrons were excited and lively:

The Roanoke Valley is blessed to have such a talented group of musicians.
In addition to the RSO, led by David Stewart Wiley, were the following:
RSO Chorus, led by Dr. John Hugo
Virginia Tech Choir, Larry Wyatt, Director
Roanoke Valley Children's Choir, Kimberly Ruse Davidson, Director
Radford University Highlanders Pipes and Drums, Timothy Chanell, Director
and............ ADRIENNE DANRICH, soprano soloists. Wow, did she ever bring down the house!!!
The evening was highlighted at the conclusion with the audience Christmas Carol Sing-Along.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
